Our neighbor down the street is having a pool put in. Yesterday the pool was brought in on a truck and craned into their backyard. It was quite an exciting day for our little street. People set up lawn chairs and just watched. The kids, of course, had a blast watching all the
excitement.
This is the pool on the truck before they started backing it down our street. The kids are standing in front. You can hardly see the house behind it.
The deep end of the pool is 8 feet deep.
Backing it down the street (we live on a large hill so this was quite a feat). He almost took out a few mailboxes, but they made it!
For some reason they hooked it on the crane upside down, and then had to flip it over. It was crazy.
At first they were going to crane the pool over the house and set it in the backyard. But they went down the side between two houses instead. The owners of these two houses were biting their nails that the pool didn't hit anything!! Needless to say it was a pretty exciting day.
