My baby shower is this weekend and I really wanted to get some pink shoes for the occasion. I plan on wearing a green dress (well more like a green tent with a tie in the back!) and accessorize with pink. I usually go the simple classic route, but I found these shoes at Target and loved them. I thought the rhinestone turtles were really cute.
Do you think these shoes are a little over the top for a big, huge pregnant lady to wear to a classic Sunday Brunch baby shower?? Please be honest and tell me what you think. My other shoes are flat pink
sandals (and probably a little more sensible).

I think that will look really cute. But, my feet were always so swollen that I couldn't have pulled them off during pregnancy. If you don't have that problem though, they will be perfect!

Screw sensible and go with the wedges - you know that's what your heart says to do!! Plus, they are flipping fabulous and will scream prep with a green dress!
I think they're adorable and if you can get your feet in them, more power to you. I'm down to one pair of Vineyard Vines flip-flops that actually fit me. It's ridiculous.

Those will be great, but they're definitely the focal point... so I'd tone down any jewelry and wouldn't use pink anywhere else (unless in very small, understated doses). Super cute!
I HEART those shoes! I wore heels w/both my pregnancies. I missed my clothes so much, I rocked heels a lot.
BTW, are those Miss Trish? Where did you get those?? ADORABLE??
I got these bad boys too! They are super cute and to tell you the truth - I almost didn't get them. I thought maybe I might kill myself walking in them... guess what they are super easy to walk -in and they make you look super tall. YOU SHOULD WEAR THEM.

I say work those sassy shoes girl! But you will rarely find me saying there are shoes that are over the top. Especially pregnant! Work it!

I tried to order some of the turtle/starfish embellished sandals online but, sadly, they are only in stores. I hope to run into a Target before they are all sold. I say wear them with pride! My ankles were way too swollen to pull off sandals or heels when I was preg! You are lucky enough so, go for style! Have fun at the shower.

Wear whatever makes you feel good - you can always go barefoot is they get uncomfortable! I tihnk in pregnancy sometimes you have to forget what is 'practical' and wear things that make you feel great!
As long as you don't hurt yourself in them, they're darling! You could always sit down for most of the shower if need be! However, if you'd be more comfortable in cute little flats for this occasion, you'll still get lots of wear out of these adorable pink turtle wedges post-pregnancy :)
What is the shower's theme? it is summer so you might well be able to go with these. They are super cute! However, if the shower is an after church thing I might go with the more sensible flat. I hope I am not coming off as blunt or mean!!! They are so fun and great for the warm weather!
